We are delighted to be opening applications for our Information Technology Graduate Scheme with a start date in September 2025.

The Prax Group will, over the duration of the 3-year programme, providing an IT Application Analyst Graduate with the opportunity to work in different projects across the Refining division of the Group.

 

As a Graduate IT Application Analyst, you will work alongside the IT Department based in Immingham and Weybridge and other departments across the business to manage business applications and functions which accurately reflect the current and future modes of operation of the company.

 

 

Key responsibilities from Day 1 will include:

 

  • Working with project teams from initial concept through to delivery.
  • Engage with business key users and 3rd party support teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Presenting the requirements within the Business and to IT development teams
  • Producing high level & detailed functional and software requirements specifications
  • Contributing towards the design of new system developments and the evolution of existing system capabilities.
  • Developing a strong knowledge of Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery business to ensure systems meet operational requirements.

  

 

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Graduate to join our team. To be successful you will:

 

  • Be on track or have achieved, a 2:1 degree (or higher) in an IT-related discipline
  • You will possess good problem-solving skills and thrive under the challenge of doing so
  • Have an inquisitive and forward-thinking mindset, who is always looking to learn and develop
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Possess the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels within the business and with third-party vendor

***Technical skills (desirable):

  • Good understanding of software design principles
  • Experience of databases and programming with SQL
  • Good knowledge of Power BI & Automate
